Stuart Begg - General Manager & Company Director
Stuart started with the company in 1992 in various roles and more recently filled the roles of Office Manager and export logistics manager, working very closely with John Hamilton. In 2008 Stuart was appointed as General Manager of Cates Grain & Seed and also as a company director.

John Hamilton - Seeds and Grain Trading Manager
John has over 35 years experience in the industry and has been with the company for more than 20 years. Beginning as a Company Representative servicing the Mid Canterbury region John's responsibilities now include the company's grain trading, marketing nationally and internationally all varieties of pasture and turf seeds and arranging production contracts for varieties of pasture and turf seeds for re-export to the Northern Hemisphere.

Paul Winter - Agri-chemical and Area Manager & Company Director
Paul has worked with the company for over 18 years and is responsible for servicing the Wakanui district. He has a vast knowledge in the production of all grain, seed and arable production that is carried out in Canterbury. He is known for his expertise in the agri-chemical business and manages this portfolio for the company.

Martin Reid - Pulse and Produce Trading Manager & Company Director Martin has worked with the company for over 19 years and his role within the company is managing all purchases and sales of pulses (peas and lentils) and produce (oats, maize, linseed). Martin is also responsible for servicing key clients in the North Canterbury area. Martin has a vast knowledge in all aspects of production and agronomy, steming from his many years experience as an area manager.

Graham Kennedy - Company Accountant & Company Director
Graham has been the company accountant since the company was first formed in 1973. Graham is a partner in an accountancy business, Brophy Knight & Partners Ltd. Graham has a very close working knowledge of the business and takes a strong interest in the company.
